Guile stood atop the balcony of his home at the edge of Thunder city. A black cloud loomed constantly over the city, spraying lightning into the wastelands outside the walls. Guile looked out over the wasteland where the thunder lizards roamed. A strong wind was blowing from the east which he enjoyed. Many times he had thought of leaving this place and never looking back, but he knew that he wouldn't be accepted anywhere else so he stayed. He could hear the booming of the soldiers training at the nearby barracks. War was on the horizon, there was no escaping it. Guile just hoped he would be out of there before anything major happened.
