Ryelle reached Aunden a few hours after her final encounter with Aaron and his friends. She left Fury in the care of the stable-master and sought out her father to make her report. Once she had made her report to him, she went to her chambers to bathe and change into her civilian clothes. After she was comfortable again, she decided to take a walk, and hopefully she would encounter her old friend Nessa.

After her walk, Ryelle retreated back to her chamber. She was rather disappointed that she hadn't run into Nessaria on her long walk. The two of them had always been close.

As Ryelle was sitting at her desk, she heard a knock on her chamber door. Hoping it might be Nessa, she motioned for the servant to get it. Slightly disappointed that it was only her father, she sat back down and resumed looking at the scouts' reports from the borders. Yes, Father? she asked, not really caring. I'm very pleased with your performance in Biotia, Daughter. Did the "bug" work as it should have? he asked, slightly too happily. Yes, it was just perfect Father. She was getting rather suspicious; usually her father paid little attention to her. With all due respect Father, is there something you wanted? You've never been this concerned with me before. Dropping the "kindly father" attitude, he said, Alright then, Ryelle. Yes, as a matter of fact there is. There have been rumors going around that are most disturbing to me. They say that the reason you volunteered for the mission to retrieve the traitor was that you knew him. Seeing Ryelle's expression tighten he continued, knowing he had hit the mark. Oh yes, I knew who it was before you went. I knew you were going after Aaron....yet again. He paused, smirking knowingly.

Ryelle could feel her temper rising at the mention of her "previous relationship" with the traitor Aaron. You have no right to accuse me of such treachery, Father! You know I've been over that brat for years! These "rumors" are just that...rumors! And if you don't mind, get out of my room....I'm finished with this conversation. She watched her father leave, still smirking, before sitting down again at her desk. *How dare he accuse me!* she thought agrily. *I'll show him....I'll show them all!*
